Project 365, 16th January
Unfortunately the scans of these two mushrooms do not do them justice. They are richer coloured IRL- more brown- grey tones. I did a quick sketch in pencil, inked it and then painted in gouache, leaving areas of white from the watercolour paper to show the lighter areas on the mushrooms. The two cards from yesterday and today are the two seperate halves of one mushroom- I cut it down the middle as mushrooms can be quite plain and boring from the outside!
